Their first tour in over two decades
After a series of festival appearances over the last couple of years, The Replacements have finally announced a full US tour. This thirteen date trek across the country which will be the band's first extended outing in 24 years.
Recognised as one of alternative rock's true pioneers, The Replacements are instantly recognisable by Paul Westerberg's husky vocals and the glorious guitar jangle which frames them. Formed in Minneapolis in 1979, the band secured their legacy with third studio record Let It Be, a wonderfully scattershot 33 minutes of post-punk angst, shot through with melodies that would make McCartney proud. During their heyday, their concerts were notoriously chaotic and boozy, and while they've mellowed a bit since then, they're still a electrfying live act. Catch them when they play Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, CO, Closed April 19, 2015
