A dazzling new family ballet
Colorado Ballet invite you on a journey to the depths of the ocean to the realm of the Sea King and his headstrong daughter, a mermaid with just one wish, to live above the water with the humans, particularly with a handsome Prince she has fallen for from her watery vantage point. Prepared to give up her beguiling voice, and everything else, for love, she makes a deal with the wicked Sea Witch, a challenge that she must complete...or else.
Don't miss this entrancing adaptation of Hans Christian Anderson's classic fairy tale by Lynne Taylor Corbett with a divine score by Michael Moricz, alongside narration and lyrics to enrich the tale. Prepare to fall in love with this ballet that promises to transport you from the auditorium to a magical new world.
