The Denver Centre Theatre Company is set to close its 2014-2015 season with a bang - the world premier of The 12, a rock'n'roll musical that picks up right where Jesus Christ Superstar left off. Written by the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan and award-winning composer and lyricist Neil Berg, this exciting new production is a rocking revamp of one of the most revered stories in human history.

Set just after the crucifixion of Christ, in the interim three days before his resurrection, The 12 follows the emotional journey that his disciples take in the wake of their leader's death. Racked with grief, they must fight to overcome their fears and doubts with the love and compassion that was Jesus' legacy.
