Richard Thomas delivered an outstanding performance, skillfully incorporating period language and sound effects with his voice. I found myself laughing and appreciating Twain's wit and humor. During the performance, I recalled watching the Ken Burns series on Mark Twain. I was greatly impressed by how accurately Thomas conveyed the facts. When he spoke, I couldn't help but fondly remember his character, John Boy, from *The Waltons*. I felt incredibly grateful to see him perform live.
