Good Show in an Iconic Venue
A really good show at the iconic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. At 71, John “Cougar†Mellancamp still has it, or at least moat of it. Many classics and more well done. Even the video in the beginning was worthwhile, contrary to some opinions, which might be different if minds would just be open to understand. Don’t understand, however, the purported lighting issues. Thought it was perfect. Nice touch with the manikins too.
Best Band!!!
I was at both nights at Billy Bob's and they were amazing!!! Midland puts on n excellent live show! Midland sounds just as good as they do on their albums and they really engage their audience. I have seen these guys numerous times and am always up front and the lighting is fine... I can't speak to the lighting for the back of the house. If you want to see a great live show , go see Midland..... It will be so much fun !!!!
Amazing show
Not sure what the other reviewer was watching, but I thought the show was incredible, to include the lighting and everything else. Midland’s musicianship and connection with the crowd is by far one of the best I’ve witnessed.
Midland in Mesa
I love this old school band. Saw them in Tuscon a year ago. One of the best concerts I have ever attended. I know all their songs and they could sing their own great tunes for 2 straight hours. Not sure why they substituted a bunch of songs from other artists…they have too much good stuff. Still love this band but don’t want to hear Glen Campbells Witchita Lineman, bless his heart. Still a great time.
Ghost Band
Awesome showmanship, superb vocals, great venue but not being able to physically see any band member due to the lighting (which I assume Midland chooses) kinda sucks. I’ll still listen to to band but think I’ll sit out next time since actually viewing a band is half the reason one goes to “see†live concerts.
Midland
Horrible venue. Poor lighting. Were they live? Sounded too much like their album. Exactly in fact. Never saw them, had to watch on a tv screen. Love their music though
