Why See The Bible Tour?
The hit TV series transforms into a concert tour!
Based on the hit TV miniseries The Bible, this multimedia sensory concert sees your favorite Christian artists team up for an epic concert, with scenes from the show projected behind them to promote the message of Christ. This year's lineup includes Matt Maher, Natalie Grant, Andrew Peterson, Steven Malcolm and Daniel and Harvest Bashta.
With key scenes taken from the hit show interspersed with modern-day footage filmed in the Holy Land, audiences are transported out of the venue and into the cradle of Christianity, driving home The Lord's message of peace and harmony to all.
The Bible TV series first aired on the History channel in 2013 during Easter Week by married producers Roma Downey and Mark Burnett, who were inspired after rewatching the classic movie The Ten Commandments. Rather than devising an epic film, they chose a 10-hour series format, which garnered them three Emmy Award nominations for best miniseries as well as two for sound engineering. The series has since been edited down into a feature film in 2014 for cinematic release under the title, Son Of God.
Performance date: 12 October 2018
