Celebrate the life of Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops in this special tribute!
The Colorado Symphony Orchestra kicks off the new year with a tribute to the great conductor, Arthur Fiedler. Celebrating this effervescent character and his incredible work with the Boston Pops, join the Colorado Symphony as they perform work by the likes of Bottesini and Bolcom.
Born and raised in Boston Arthur Fiedler is best known for his extensive work with the infamous Boston Pops. After forming the Boston Sinfonietta in 1924, Fiedler became the 18th conductor of the Boston Pops Orchestra in 1930. With a career that laster for more than half a century, Fiedler cultivated and moulded the Boston Pops the most famous orchestras in the United States.
