Get on your best Cosplay Sunday best and soar with the music of classic movies and games!
Calling all cosplayers, video gamers and super hero movie enthusiasts! The Colorado Symphony and associate director Christopher Dragon welcomes avid listeners for a celebration of the music of Comic Con, featuring a one-night-only program of well loved works from celebrated movies and games. Alongside music from the Video Games Live concert series, iconic Bethesda mainstay Skyrim and Final Fantasy VII's 'One Winged Angel', the ensemble will also perform ABZU, the latest release from Colorado's very own Grammy nominated film and video game composer Austin Wintory.
Wintory's soaring concerto from Assassin's Creed Syndicate also takes pride of place in the evening's program, during which show stopping violin virtuoso Sandy Cameron will take to the stage to scale its wall-running heights and death defying sonic leaps. Cinephiles are also sure to get their fix during rousing renditions of songs from iconic silver screen classics Harry Potter, Jurassic Park and The Nightmare Before Classics. Costumes are emphatically encouraged!
