Calling all guys and ghouls,the Colorado Symphony Orchestra are back with their annual live-to-picture performance of Tim Burton's cult classic The Nightmare Before Christmas, and just in time for the Halloween weekend to boot! Performing Danny Elfman's spine-tingling score along to the beloved film, the ensemble invite thrill seekers of all ages to enjoy a cinematic event like no other. Costumes are emphatically encouraged, the more macabre, the better!
The creepy caper chronicles the misadventures of anti-hero Jack Skellington, the respected Pumpkin King of Halloweentown, one of seven holiday worlds where the denizens perpetually celebrate the popular spooky holiday. But Jack becomes bored of the same old, same old routine of scaring the humans of Earth and when he accidentally stumbles upon the joyful spirits and bright colors of Christmastown, he hatches a nefarious plot to kidnap Santa and take over the role of jolly bringer of gifts...
