Breakin' Convention is not just a show or a festival, it's an experience.
Broadway World
Pop, lock and slide your way down to Breakin' Convention, the worlds biggest festival dedicated to the kinetic magic of hip hop dance theatre. Back for its second year running, the annual gathering is curated and hosted by hip hop dance icon Jonzi D in partnership with historic UK dance organisation Sadler's Wells and showcases the worlds best dancers, from world champion b-boy crews to underground street dance companies on the cutting edge of the art form.
As well as thrilling shows, the festival boasts workshops, graffiti artwork, special guest DJs and open freestyle sessions, given attendees the chance to really soak up the proud and colorful culture of breaking. Last year's lineup included UK dance team Protocol, South Africa's Soweto Skeleton Movers and Denver's own Machine Ramainz.
The incredible international line up includes, Antoinette Gomis (France), BirdGang Dance Company (UK), FemmeFatale (International), The Ruggeds (Netherlands), Sample Culture (Netherlands).
