DOES NOT MEASURE UP TO THE PAS PERFORMANCES
The performance was too long for a children’s' story. I would rather have one intermission, cut the first and second act in time, and combine third and fourth into one kiss and wedding celebration. Many pair and solo dances were too long, redundant, did not move the story forward, but showcased the dancer’s skills instead, which was just too much for a fairy-tale. Characters from other stories were fun and actually liven up the other vise boring and unimaginative story- telling. Still it was unclear who is who, and the prince was entirely disappointing - too short and not distinguished enough.

SLEEPING BEAUTY BALLET DENVER
it was ok... the costumes and dancing were lovely, but there was no story. It loosely followed the story of sleeping beauty, but after the second act there was no tie in or no story for that matter. In the 3rd act - Puss and Boots and Little Red Riding Hood show up??? The story was very disjointed and made no sense at all.
