VIETGONE IS PHENOMENAL!
Phenomenal! Highly enjoyed this performance today. I laughed (a lot), I cried (a lot). Left feeling a strange mix of exuberance and exhaustion = great theatre. The cast was pitch perfect, I highly recommend this play. Congratulations Qui Nguyen!

A HILARIOUS, MOVING, WILD RIDE, SEXY AND SURPRISING
I saw this before it opened, and I was simply blown away. The script is amazing, but the acting is even more impressive. The ninja fight that erupts suddenly is an epic achievement in sardonic stage combat. The ending scene will likely have you in tears, and actually make you think hard about the Vietnam war, and about family. You will not believe how moved you are, because you will have spent much of the preceding hour laughing your damn ass off. The cast is just a cavalcade of talent, eye candy, and laughs. Even the rap music (yes, it is an Asian sex comedy with rap) kills. See it before it closes.
