Orchestral Folk
The talented musicians who form the innovative folk ensemble Elephant Revival join with the Colorado Symphony for a scintillating one-off performance! Known for their distinct ability to blend multiple different folk, traditional and rock genres, be it Celtic folk, America, bluegrass or even art-rock, their collaboration with a full orchestra brings a tantalising twist to their arrangements in this unique performance at Boettcher Hall.
Forming in 2006, the band include a range of instrumentation in their music, including fiddles, banjos, musical saw, trumpets and guitars. Across four full length records, a live album and a generous 8-track EP, the group have made a real name for themselves in the scene and beyond, with its talented members' individual careers seeing them at times performing with artists such as Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones, Bela Fleck and George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, among many others.
