Celebrate the man behind the most memorable melodies of all time in this extra special concert series, presented by the Colorado Symphony. Helmed by Wilbur Lin, the ensemble will take the audience on an aural journey through John William's most beloved scores, from a galaxy far, far away to a realm where dinosaurs rule.
In a career spanning almost seven decades, John Williams has composed the soundtrack to many a childhood. His distinctive orchestral scores have garnered a myriad awards including 23 Grammys and five Academy Awards, as well as an astounding 50 Oscar nominations. Special guest violinist Yumi Hwang-Williams joins the program to perform Williams' Three Pieces from Schindler's List, alongside pieces from films The Terminal and J.F.K.
