Celebrated pianist, singer and songwriter Andrew McMahon joins with the Colorado Symphony for a musical journey through his back catalog, reimagining his songs with the grand backing of an orchestra! Best known as the lead vocalist and main composer of the bands Something Corporate, Jack's Mannequin, and Andrew McMahon and the Wilderness, his critically acclaimed output has been just as successful commercially. Don't miss this special orchestral performance.
With a musical output spanning punk rock, upbeat pop, electronic soundscapes and beyond, Andrew McMahon's versatility has seen him find success time and again with his different creative outlets. Across a career approaching three decades long, he sold hundreds of thousands of records with Something Corporate - being named after their break-up in Consequence's 100 best pop punk bands - before his next band Jack's Mannequin had a string of early 2000's hits like "Dark Blue" and "The Mixed Tape". Following Jack's Mannequin closing shop (temporarily at least) in the early 2010s, McMahon began his current project, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, whose output has so far included four studio albums, tours with Weezer and Panic at the Disco, and collaborations with Tom Morello.
