Tears for Fears delivered a powerful, brilliant performance worthy of Wembley stadium last night in the rain and thunder. Playing tracks for their new album along with classics, they moved between keeping it light and upbeat to powerhouse arena pop.
Armed with the strength of new classics like My Demons and Long Long Time and with their timeless hits, they had enough material for two shoes.
One standout moment, supported by Corina Round on vocals, Badman’s song was impossibly entertaining.
If you were considering this show, I strongly suggest it. If you are considering the new album, they suggest you buy it, instead streaming lol. Don’t miss this show

ELEGANT EVENING OF MUSIC
Tears for Fears put on an incredible show that brought a nice sampling of songs through their career. The only album not represented was 1995's Raoul and the Kings of Spain. The musicianship was spot on and the voices sounded just as fresh as the day the respective album was recorded. Corina Round provided a very suitable and accomplished substitute for Oleta Adams on "Woman in Chains" and "Bad Man's Song." She also provided backing vocals throughout the evening - she has an incredible voice. What more could us refugees of 1980s music want? A beautiful evening under a marine layer and songs from our life's soundtrack. Garbage opened the show and Shirley Manson and the band were fantastic. All in all, it was money well spent and seeing T4F for the first time, it crossed off a bucket list item. On a side note, the venue could do a much better job of keeping counterfeit merchandise from being sold in the parking lot. Otherwise, it was a great night.

TEARS FOR FEARS - AMERIS AMPHITHEATRE - JUNE 12, 2022
The show was fabulous! I've seen Tears For Fears a number of times & always enjoyed their show but this was different. Curt & Roland were ENJOYING THEMSELVES! In previous shows for TFF, the music was excellent & the performances very good but there was very little interaction between Curt & Roland other than being on stage together & sometimes singing together. Tonight, they were jamming together! Multiple times! They jammed with Charlton Pettus too.
Curt was more animated than I have EVER seen him. Moving around the stage to sing/play to the whole audience, his bass WAS HEARD! Roland's always done it, this was just more frequent. They guys ROCKED!! Even with the playlist varying the mood & obviously not everyone was familiar with all the new songs, they completely let loose on the ones everyone knew. The drums, the synth, the guitars - Rocked HARD! Badman's Song nearly brought the place down!
Amazing concert. Not one to ever forget. The guys are better than ever!

TEARS FOR FEARS/GARBAGE JUNE 2022 ALPHARETTA GA
An amazing show from both bands. I wasn't looking forward to Garbage but I'm delighted to state I was wrong, this band (the opener) was fantastic as well! Both bands communicated with the audience which felt very intimate. I'd see this show again and again. Only complaint - the tickets were so cheap for the value received I honestly feel like the performers got screwed LOL.

"IT FELT LIKE EVERYTHING WAS GONNA BE OK"
Being a big fan of Tears for Fears having grown up in the 80s and never really getting to have seen them together, this was a bucket list and the most anticipated concert I have ever experienced. The show was as close to perfection as it can come, the energy, the vibe, the magic that was on stage was nothing short of extraordinary after all this time. From beginning to end, it was a masterpiece. For one and a half hours this show made it feel like everything was gonna be OK...and world was falling back to a time of hope a timer promise time of mutual respect that once was. You actually could feel the happy in the thousands of people that were there no animosity no hate just pure pleasure and joy for the experience. Being an avid music lover concert goer this was some thing I had never experienced in my 50 years. If you get a chance, don't miss this show it truly is brilliant and all its facets. Thank you Tears for Fears for bringing back hope.

AWESOME AT THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL
This band gave me my soul in the 80s and I always wanted to see them. Last night under the stars at the Hollywood Bowl was a concert I will never forget. They jammed. Everyone was singing and dancing, it felt like I was clubbing again in my early 20s. Thank you Curt and Roland. You made my year.

INCREDIBLE CONCERT
We’ grew up with Tears for Fears’ music and we’ve seen them in concert before. However, this last concert at Hollywood Bowl was historic, truly one of the best concerts ever. We took our two teenage daughters and sung our hearts out along with Roland and Kurt whose voices were still so clear and so powerful. The the bowl was packed and 20,000 stood on their feet to sing Shout! It was an incredible concert!
