THE PIANO GUYS IN VANCOUVER!

Oh, Boy. was I every lucky to get 3 seats at the last minute in row 3!! We could see the individuals clearly and hear them fairly well [the Queen Elizabeth Theatre has had sound issues its entire life]. It was fabulous when they were playing without the background video, but also fabulous to see and hear them play along with themselves. I think seeing them in one of their outdoor concerts would be even better. Love their CDs and seeing them play on PBS. Never thought I would be able to see them live. Thanks, Piano Guys, for coming to Vancouver!!

ENJOYABLE BUT DIDN'T MOVE ME LIKE THE VIDEOS

Went to see PIano Guys on 12-11-13 at Westbury. The 2 main musicians are very talented and I appreciated their banter that let their personalities shine through, as well as the mixed in youtube videos, however there were several things that could have been improved. There was way too much overdubbing of the background music that didn't allow the live music to be appreciated. The best parts of the concert were when I could hear the piano and cello echoing through the room in isolation from the prerecorded parts. Also the ushers did not stop people from recording or taking pictures despite the warning, which was very distracting. Overall it was enjoyable though.

ATLANTA PERFORMANCE

Somewhat disappointed. Too much dialogue that could have produced more music. Anticipated more Xmas music since we are in that season. Obviously, excellent musicians and arrangements.

TOO MUCH TALKING AND PRE-RECORDED SOUND

They are very musically talented, but spoke for at least half of the show without playing music. 12 minute introduction of a 3 minute song. Also, mix of live and pre-recorded music. Not sure how much they actually played live.

RELIGIOUS SHOW, TOO MUCH TALKING

My first The Piano Guys concert and I didn't know it would be semi-religious. There were some references to their religion and god, which explained why the audience was the same following and there was a lot of support and cheer for these references to god but it made me uncomfortable. Also, they aren't as "natural" off the cuff and their jokes and skits seemed so rehearsed it was cringe. The whole concert was about 3 hours with intermission but there was also A LOT of talking between the songs. Some talk-ups were up to 10 mins before actually playing the song and it was a little much, the talk-ups could have been shorter and less boring especially when it gets preachy. Overall, really good music performances, there's no doubt the guys are talented, but they do seem a little fake when they talk, they're preaching too much, and there's too much talking between songs.
