SOUND WAS TERRIBLE

Saw the show in Portland, OR. I don't know if the terrible sound and acoustics are the auditorium's problem or the production's, but it was awful. Too loud. To fuzzy. Didn't even sound like Alanis music. Honestly, it was my first time leaving a show at intermission and I was so disappointed because I had really been looking forward to this musical.

DISAPPOINTED

Acoustics were bad, music was so loud my ears still hurt, couldn’t understand much of the singing which was mostly nothing more than yelling at the audience. Worst play I’ve seen at the Keller. We left at the intermission, along with many others.

YUK !

I have seen 100 plays in my time , this is the first one I got up and left . Don’t waste you money !

WOULD RATHER LISTEN TO PAVAROTTI SING GRUNGE.

Her album is great, but arranging it for choral/ ensemble work is contrived & forced. Forced dialogue in an attempt to weave together a story. This is like going to Long John Silver and expecting to find fresh seafood. With the exception of an episode where the lead goes back in time, the choreography didn't make any sense and looked like it may have be better suited to a middle school production. The performers were okay, but this show should not have been revived.

JAGGED LITTLE PILL OTTAWA

Hugely disappointed. Vocals were usually drowned by the band. Even when I knew the wording, I couldn’t follow the vocals. The songs were not sung so much as yelled at the audience. The plot was jejune, pedestrian , and entirely predictable. Typical tripe from a woke mind; nothing anywhere close to Juno. Maybe I’m unusual, but I personally knew two women with much worse stories than the protagonists. In summary, a predictable plot with poorly executed vocals. I asked my companion, during the intermission, if she wanted to leave, as I was more than ready to do so. I had never considered this for any other show.

HO-R-R-R-RIBLE

Still nursing my eardrums this morning after seeing the first act in Denver last night. The screaming was unbearable, and that’s too bad because the talent was good. The choreography…what choreography? The storylines were boring and contrived. The dialogues weak. Sound quality didn’t help trying to figure out what the emitted sounds meant. Did not expect such a bad production gets to have a national tour.

THE WORST EVER

This was the absolute WORST show I have ever seen, so bad in fact didn't return fort he second half. Felt like I was watching high school theatre kids that can't sing or act ! What a waste of money, I have season tickets and this was not worth including in the cast of shows!!!
