I liked the music because well, I like MJ and the performers were great. However, there was a terrible continuous background noise that was very annoying except when the music was LOUD. It sounded like a water was flowing through the walls.

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!
I thought it was going to be good. The band is good bust the singers have no energy. The timing and some notes were off. The talk scenes are long and boring. Dancing is good. Main Michael was the worse singer of everyone. No one put any energy into the performance. I would suggest the show close, the cast rehearse another month or so, then reopen. Maybe recast some of it.

A MUSICAL ABOUT A MUSICIAN WITH UNINSPIRING MUSIC.
For a musical about the life of a musician, what I would think is the most important part of this equation was seemingly pushed to the side in favor of visual gimmicks. I'm usually not a fan of theater, but I do love Michael Jackson, so I decided to give this show a shot. The singers were good (the Michael was great) and the costumes, staging, and visuals were pretty good, but the music overall was... Okay. The musicians weren't bad; the drummer was strong and everyone else was definitely competent. The whole thing just didn't feel tight. The arrangements of the classic MJ hits weren't captivating either; the attempts at medleying these songs together felt lazy and uninspired. Overall the music felt too far from the original to be familiar, yet too close to be interesting. As a musician going to a show about the King of Pop, I was expecting a bit more from the music, from the arrangements to the band itself. I'd recommend you spend the $ on a real concert if you're a music lover.

MJ
Soooo, not awful….surprisingly not better. Sat in row R but voices from cast were not projecting very well. People on cell phones, talking throughout the performance. One young gir in audience made weird noises through the whole performance….waste of money.

REALLY
The show was terrible. Any reviewer that was positive was either paid off or stoned. The music was lousy, off key and an embarrassment to MJ’s memory. The audience was immature and one woman who had to be “off” sang and spoke the entire first half, we moved at intermission. The theater is an experience which should be respected, it isn’t a cover band scene, you folks how want that should go to Atlantic City Casinos. Please close this show it is a total sham calling it a Broadway Theater Show.

TALK, TALK AND MORE TALK!
Too much talking. The music and the dancers were fenomenal however, the story line will put you to sleep.
