ONE GREAT LEGENDARY BAND, ONE GOOD KAROKE GROUP

The XL Centers sound system was made through a mass purchase of Bullhorns in the 1960's. It's embarrassing that they use it outside of basketball games, even Basketball games deserve better. That said, Def Leppard is still the best Legend Act still going. No competition, checked the Bucket List for me. Let's talk about Journey, is everyone still over Steve Perry's replacement? Not me, he delivered great vocals but, you know.

IT ROCKED!

Awesome show! Though there was some distortion in the sound in parts of the Journey show they need to work on but both bands rocked! Great night!

5 STARS FOR DEF LEPPARD

As always Def Leppard rocked Cleveland! Then I left. Zero interest in watching a Journey show.

5 STARS FOR DEF LEOPARD ONLY

Def Leopard was absolutely amazing. Sorry I will probably never get over Steve Perry-less Journey but went in with an open mind. My problem is not with the singer it’s Neal Scoen’s (sp?) constant “look at me” guitar solos! People pay the money to hear Journey songs not to hear his guitar play.

JOURNEY & DEF LEPPARD

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I've seen both groups multiple times and they were both EPIC, after all these years! I HIGHLY recommend it for everyone, should they tour again, in the future!!!!! ROCK ON!!!

BUYER BEWARE

The Pretenders were a great opening act and Christie Hynde can still sing like never before. Then the announcement that there is only 30 minutes till the next act, which is great as it gives you a heads up to get a beer and time for your seat. Then a 5 minute count down and then Def Leppard hits the stage! I wasn’t really expecting much from an 80’s band but was I wrong. They sounded fantastic! They played all their hits and had videos of there past tours in the 80’s and really kept the crowd in the show. Again, they sounded great! Played an encore and a selfie with the crowd behind them to end their part of the show. Then about a half hour later Journey takes the stage and what a disappointment. We are huge Journey fans and they sounded horrible. A guitar solo in every song and could never hear the vocals. Most of the crowd around us sat (we were 28th row main floor) and a lot of the crowd left after the 3rd or fourth song. No encore and very disappointing.
